1903. From the trunk of my great-grandmother, Mattie Rebecca Sweatt Deshazo. My uncle Rayvon collected stamps and it seems he sometimes cut the stamps from the post cards - oh well - as long as he had fun with the stamps. This post card shows a crowd of people at Easter walking on the Board Walk in Atlantic City, N. J. The card is marked Arthur Livingston, N. Y. No. 606.
March 18, 1958. "Billy has two new EASTER outfits, one of which, a bunny costume, makes him resemble a space man with big ears. The other outfit is one he intends to wear to school. Will you help him try them on?" Another Easter paper doll by Emma McKean.
January 15, 1957. A Little Bo-Peep Paper Doll by Emma McKean. "LITTLE BO-PEEP'S concern for her sheep has given way to a smile of joy as she anticipates donning her new costumes. You can help to further brighten her day by applying colors, cutting out doll, dress, etc., so that they will be ready to wear. Slit bonnet along dotted line. Fasten dress with tabs." This is the second Bo-Peep paper doll by Emma McKean that I have posted.
